The Guild Players

We are always interested to hear from anyone who would like to contribute to the life and activities of our dynamic amateur theatre group.

Actors: We are always on the lookout for people who wish to broaden their acting experience. We can offer a rewarding experience to actors of all ages who relish the opportunity to act with the premier amateur dramatic group in the East Kent area.

Production: We need people skilled and knowledgeable in theatre sound or lighting. If you want to be involved but would prefer not to tread the boards we always need back stage crew to help us manage the set, scenery and props. Each production requires a prompt so this might suit you. We often need choreographers, costume seamstresses, make-up artists, musical directors, and musicians.

Construction: We always aspire to elaborate and ambitious sets and need people to assist in their design and building. We require a range of well skilled builders and artists for the major work but anyone can pick up a paintbrush so we can offer jobs to everyone.

Front of House: This is a major part to our productions that covers many skills. As well as someone to manage this we need staff to work on our box office, as ushers or usherettes and serving at our bar.

Publicity: We are interested to hear from anyone with experience in publicity and marketing to help us publicise our shows and activities.
